De Broughe, who first made headlines with her state cricket debut in the 2019-20 season, has since been a force to reckon with. Initially balancing her cricket career with hockey, she has now fully committed to cricket, with aspirations of representing Australia in multiple sports.

Her standout performances have been numerous. During the 2022-23 season, de Broughe achieved her first WNCL century and was awarded the Lauren Ebsary Award for the best young player at the South Australian Scorpions. Her exceptional form continued into the 2023-24 season, culminating in her being named the Betty Wilson Young Cricketer of the Year at the Australian Cricket Awards.

This impressive domestic form did not go unnoticed by the Melbourne Renegades. They brought de Broughe into their squad as a replacement player ahead of WBBL|09. Since joining the team, she has played seven matches and accumulated 89 runs, including a standout 42 against Brisbane in just her second innings.

Last season was a valuable learning opportunity, helping me develop a more aggressive mindset and enhance my power game. I’m looking forward to contributing to the team’s success in any way I can.”
