The 11th edition of the Annual Georgia Women’s Cricket Association T20 Tournament commenced on 24th May 2024. A total of eight teams namely, Atlanta Pearls, Cali Crushers, Belizean Royal Strikers, Atlanta War Eagles, Atlanta Super Lions, Triangle Strikers, UWI Women’s Cricket Club, and Florida Panthers participated in the tournament. The teams were divided into two groups.

The tournament is played in the round-robin format. In an unfortunate turn of events, the skipper of the Triangle Strikers Chantal Oosthuizen and the vice captain Alex Lymbery were admitted to the hospital courtesy of food poisoning. “It was heartening to witness experienced players mentoring younger participants, fostering growth and camaraderie within the cricket community. Looking ahead, the prospect of next year’s tournament appears even more promising. I commend the umpires for their outstanding performance throughout the three-day event, managing back-to-back matches seamlessly without any complaints.” Match Referee Linnel appreciates the umpires commitments throughout the tournament.
