Following her fantastic run in the T20 series of the Women’s Ashes, Australia’s all-rounder Ellyse Perry has become number one all-rounder in ICC’s Women’s T20I rankings. The star player stands at the top of the list with 398 points which is 12 points ahead of second placed West Indies’ skipper Stafanie Taylor. Perry scored 114 runs including an unbeaten 60 in the last match and took three wickets in the three-match Ashes T20 series.
Another Aussies player to gain significantly is, Australia Women captain, Meg Lanning. The skipper made the highest women’s T20I individual score of 133 not out in the first T20 of Women Ashes and with aggregate of 178runs in three matches, moved up two places to second spot in Women’s T20I Batting rankings.
As far as India Women are concerned, three Indian batters feature in the Top 10 T20I batting rankings with opener Smriti Mandhana placed at fourth and the duo of Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav played third and sixth respectively in the bowling rankings.
