Top Batting Performances from Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2022-23 Season

In the recently concluded Senior Women’s T20 Trophy, defending champions, Railways with yet another season win have claimed a hat-trick of titles in the tournament and their 11th overall, while 2-time runner ups, Bengal agonizingly add a 3rd to their profile. Below, we’ve brought to you a few batting stats from the tournament.

Disha Kasat

The 25-year-old, Vidarbha batter, scored 300 runs, including a couple of fifties in the tournament of her 8 innings at a healthy average of 60.00, a decent strike rate of 114.50 and registered her best score of 60.

Jasia Akhter

The 34-year-old, Rajasthan batter is next on with scored 273 runs to her name off 7 innings at an average of 45.50. Known for her hard-hitting, Jasia proved the same on numbers with a strike rate of 138.57 and in the tournament, registered the highest score of 125*.

Sushma B Verma

The 30-year-old, Himachali batter is seeded 3rd with 237 runs to her name off 7 innings at a strike rate of 105.80. Her average of 79.00 defines the consistency she’s gained back and has got the best score of 68* against her name.


Jharkhand opener, Ashwani with 237 runs to her name off 7 innings at an average of 39.50. The aggressive opener has got a strike rate of 135.42 in the tournament and registered her personal best of 95.

Yastika Bhatia

The 22-year-old, Baroda wicketkeeper-batter, with 223 runs to her name off 6 innings has made the cut to the top 5. Striking at a rate of 97.37, Yastika in the tournament averaged a healthy 74.33 and has scripted her personal best of 64*.

Jasia Akhter

The 34-year-old batter playing for Rajasthan, against Sikkim, put her best on display with a 68-ball-125* at a strike rate of 183.82 that included as many as 17 boundaries and 5 maximums. Jammu and Kashmir-born, Jasia Akhter, happens to be the only player in the season with a century to her name.


The Jharkhand opener is next on with her highest score of 95. She’d got to the score off 57 balls at a strike rate of 166.66 against Karnataka. Her knock had 11 boundary shots and 6 maximums on display.

Simran Shaikh

The Mumbai batter is seeded 3rd on the list with her fine knock of 59-ball-89 against Vizag. Her knock including 9 boundaries and 4 maximums, had come at a strike rate of 150.84.

Shivi Pandey

The 23-year-old, Chhattisgarh batter struck a 66-ball-87 at a strike rate of 131.81. Her knock or 87 included a boundary count of 13 and had come against Sikkim.


The Jharkhand opener features again on the list with her 2nd-best score of 84*. Her unbeaten 50-ball-84* had come against Chandigarh at a strike rate of 168.00 and her knock included 12 boundaries and 3 maximums.
