The International Cricket Council (ICC) has updated its player rankings across all 3 categories; batters, bowlers, and all-rounders and it is the recently concluded 8th edition of the Asia Cup which impacted a fair share in the key seeding shuffles seen on the updated Twenty20 International (T20I) rankings.
BATTERS RANKINGS :
Indian opener, Smriti Mandhana in the side Final against Sri Lanka at the 8th edition of the Asia Cup smashed an unbeaten 25-ball-51 in guiding the side to their 7th title win in the tournament. Her blistering knock has provided enough in her attaining a career-best, 2nd position in the rankings with 730 points.
Australian Beth Mooney holds her top spot in the seedings with 743 points, while Meg Lanning with 725 points is overtaken by Smriti Mandhana who now is seeded 2nd with 730 points. Tahlia McGrath is next on seeded 4th with 704 and has New Zealand pair of Sophie Devine (694) and Suzie Bates (651) follow seeded 5th and 6th respectively. Shafali Verma (645), Jemimah Rodrigues (644), Alyssa Healy and Ashleigh Gardner (614) follow to close out the top 10 seedings.
BOWLERS RANKINGS :
Spinner, Deepti Sharma in the Asia Cup Final went wicketless, but with her finishing as the joint-highest wicket-taker with 13 to her name has jumped to 2nd rank in the seedings. Teammates, Renuka Singh Thakur and Sneh Rana closed out their good run at the Asia Cup with 3 and 2 wickets respectively have been big movers with a 5 jumps lead which now sees Renuka Singh Thakur seeded 3rd and Sneh Rana 10th. Sri Lanka’s Inoka Ranaweera has moved up 17 places to 15th on the latest list following her impressive 13-wicket run at the Asia Cup, while Pakistan’s Nashra Sandhu too make a 15-spot jump and is now seeded 29th.
English spinner, Sophie Ecclestone holds her top rank with 756 points and now has Deepti Sharma (742), Renuka Singh Thakur (737), Sarah Glenn, Shabnim Ismail (707), Hayley Matthews and Megan Schutt (704) follow in the 700+ points category. Katherine Brunt is next on at no.8 with 694 points and has Jess Jonassen (691) and Sneh Rana (681) follow in completing the top 10 seedings.

ALL-ROUNDERS RANKINGS :
The updated rankings see only a change in the 2nd set of five as Nida Dar with 26 runs and a wicket in the Semi-Final against Sri Lanka moves to 6th position with 298 points.
The rankings see Sophie Devine at the top of the list with 390 points and are followed by Hayley Matthews, Deepti Sharma (370), Ashleigh Gardner and Nat Sciver (328) on the list constituting the rankings in the 300+ points category. The next set of 5 seedings sees Nida Dar with 298 points take a position lead and has Amelia Kerr (297), Kathryn Bryce, Salma Khatun and Stafanie Taylor (261) follow in closing out the top 10 rankings.
