The 3rd T20I of the bilateral series between Australia Women and West Indies Women is all set to be played at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown. The Australian women have had their strong, dominant run extending into this series as they have won both the opening games to take the lead in the series. Sophie Molineux, the Australian captain, will be happy that she has secured her first T20I series win as captain. She will be hoping that she can win the last game and complete a whitewash against the West Indies. Georgia Voll, the Australian top-order batter, has been amongst the runs at the top for Australian Women. In her T20I career, she has scored 373 runs from 11 innings at a strike rate of 149. She has been in really good form over the past couple of months with plenty of runs under her belt. In this series, she failed to score runs in the first game but scored a solid 39 off 23 balls, to give Australia the start they needed. She will be confident that she can contribute much more at the top with the bat for her side.
Ellyse Perry
Ellyse Perry, the Australian all-rounder, is a sensational star for the Aussies, excelling across all departments. In her T20I career, she has scored 2279 runs from 116 innings at a strike rate of 117, and she has also picked up 126 wickets from 138 innings at an economy rate of 5. In this series, she has scored some fine knocks with a 36 in the first game and another good knock of 42 off 28 balls in the second game. She will be a key player to their success as she is an absolute match-winner who can play big on any given day.
Alana King
Alana King, the Australian all-rounder, has been an important bowling all-rounder for her side as she can pick wickets at economical rates. In her T20I career, she has picked up 32 wickets from 29 innings at an economy of 6, and she has scored 29 runs from her 6 innings so far. In this series, she has bowled exceptionally well, picking up a fine 3-wicket haul in the series opener and carrying her form into the second game, picking up 2 wickets and giving away just 25 runs. She won the player of the match award, and she will be keen to take her side to victory in the series finale.
