The tournament will go on for 4 days featuring top women Cricketers in the 3 competing teams – India Red, India Blue, and India Green teams.

“Before an international fixture, this will help us get things in order,” one of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials told Sportstar.

There were speculation earlier stating the finale of IPL to be played in Motera Stadium but was, later on, made clear as the final will be played in Mumbai’s Wankhede. However, there’s still a chance that All-Stars match post-IPL could see Motera as its host.

“We have started the process of hosting the Challengers at the ground. The Board’s curators will get into action and we are confident of hosting a good tournament,” the official said, making it clear that there won’t be any troubles in hosting the tournament.

The iconic stadium which has seen various international and domestic fixtures was under renovation for the last few years. It was inaugurated by US President, Donald Trump during his visit to India, alongside with P.M Narendra Modi and Gujarat’s Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.

The fixtures:

March 26: India Red vs India Blue
March 27: India Green vs India Red
March 28: India Blue vs India Green
March 30: Final
