Players to watch out:

Katie Mack

The 31-year-old top-order batter from 4 WNCL outings this summer has added 108 runs, at an average of 27.00. In a recent T20 campaign, Katie added 196 runs from 9 innings, at a strike rate of 104.81. Notably, she has managed scores of 60 and 24 in her most recent One Day outings, and the seasoned batter can be relied upon to extend this form, leading the scoring for her side.

Anesu Mushangwe

The 28-year-old leg-spinner in the ongoing WNCL season has picked up 8 wickets, at an economy rate of 4.75, from 4 outings. In a recent T20 competition, Anesu picked up 9 wickets from 7 outings but was slightly expensive (8.58). In her most recent outings, she returned bowling figures of 3/48 and 1/45 in the WNCL and can be relied upon to produce breakthroughs.

Nicole Faltum

The 24-year-old has amassed 152 runs from 4 WNCL outings this season, at an average of 38.00, and registered the highest score of 68. Most recently, Nicole accumulated 136 runs at a strike rate of 134.65 from 8 T20 outings. She has continued in this form, registering a fifty in a recent WNCL outing, and given the purple patch she has enjoyed, she can be trusted for the runs.

Georgia Prestwidge

The 27-year-old pacer has had a quiet domestic season so far, managing only 3 wickets from 4 WNCL outings, maintaining an economy rate of 5.81. Notably, in a T20 campaign, she secured 6 wickets from 4 outings, and on her WNCL return in a recent outing, she produced figures of 3/47. It is hoped that she capitalizes on this momentum, leading the tally for her side in the business end.

Pitch:

With a modest average score of 200, the center strip at EPC Solar Park forms a well-balanced wicket that offers a fair contest between bat and ball. However, bowlers, particularly pacers, have the upper hand on this wicket.

Weather:

With cloudy skies overhead and scattered thunderstorms on the radar, the chances of a complete game are minimal if the skies don’t clear. The temperature is forecasted to hover in the early 20s (°C), with light winds and 70% humidity.

Fantasy playing XI:

Nicole Faltum, Meg Lanning, Katie Mack, Tess Flintoff, Carly Leeson, Rhys McKenna, Ella Hayward, Zoe Cooke, Sophie Day, Milly Illingworth, Anesu Mushangwe
