Players to watch out:

Heather Graham

The 28-year-old all-rounder in the WBBL, from 107 innings, has tallied 1547 runs at a strike rate of 105.16, and accounted for 140 wickets from 127 outings, at a strike rate of 7.09, with bests of 55* and 3/12. Heather hasn’t found much success this season, managing only a few starts, while accounting for 12 wickets from 8 outings. The seasoned all-rounder can be banked upon for handy runs and key wickets.

Amy Smith

The 20-year-old leg-spinner, from 49 T20I innings, has struck 31 wickets, including the best of 3/17, maintaining an economy rate of 6.82. Amy made a notable impression last WBBL season, striking 9 wickets in 12 outings, and has emerged as a wicket-taker this season, returning consecutive figures of 1/20, 0/12, 1/16, and 3/18. She is a promising talent and will hopefully extend this form.

Deandra Dottin

The 33-year-old all-rounder, from 50 WBBL innings, has added 930 runs at a strike rate of 112.18, and from 52 outings, has taken 37 wickets at an economy rate of 7.20. She can be counted on for the goods.

She displayed great form in the recently concluded T20 World Cup campaign, and in this WBBL season opener, in her only outing so far, returned figures of 1/34. She can be banked upon to lead the wickets tally, producing breakthroughs.

Pitch:

The Bellerive Oval offers a good batting deck, with an average score in the 150s. However, the wicket poses a challenge for batters throughout the game due to its spin-friendly nature, keeping the bowlers in the game.

Weather:

Despite cloudy skies, Hobart promises ideal conditions for a complete game, with a minimal chance of rain. The temperature will be around 17°C, with light winds and 66% humidity.
