Jess Jonassen:
The skipper of Brisbane Heat was the pick of the bowlers in her last outing against Perth Scorchers. The left-arm spinner claimed 22/3 in four overs, accounting for all the wickets in the 19th over. She bowled well in the death overs, not allowing the opposition batters to score freely.
Danielle Wyatt:
The right-handed opening batter of Brisbane Heat top-scored in her last appearance against Perth Scorchers. The English batter mustered 34 off 29, including four boundaries. She provided a steady start to the run chase and was there in the middle till the 13th over.
Rachael Haynes:
The captain of Sydney Thunder led the run-chase from the front with a gritty 37 off 29 in her last fixture against Sydney Sixers. The left-handed middle-order batter muscled half a dozen boundaries in her innings. In the process, she stitched a 53-run partnership with Chloe Tryon for the fourth wicket.
Samantha Bates:
The slow left-arm spinner of Sydney Thunder was one of the most successful bowlers for her side in her last match against Sydney Sixers. The wily spinner opened the bowling with Sammy Jo-Johnson and scalped 27/2 in four overs, striking in her first over. She was also the most economical bowler for Thunder.
