Sammy Jo-Johnson: 

The right-arm medium-pace bowler of Sydney Thunder was the pick of the bowlers in her last outing against Hobart Hurricanes. She scalped 34/3 in four overs. She bowled well in the middle phase of the innings and the death overs. Besides her bowling, she is more than a handy right-handed middle-order batter.

Phoebe Litchfield: 

The left-handed opening batter of Sydney Thunder top-scored for her team in her last appearance against Hobart Hurricanes. The southpaw muscled 28 off 21, including a couple of boundaries and a six. She provided a steady start to the run chase with her attractive stroke-play.

Beth Mooney: 

The left-handed opening batter of Perth Scorchers led the run chase from the front against Melbourne Stars in her last game. The southpaw mustered 35 off 44, including five boundaries. She won the player of the match for her stunning batting effort. Apart from this, she had a good outing on the field, holding on to three crucial catches.

Piepa Cleary: 

The dashing all-rounder of Perth Scorchers made valuable contributions with bat and ball in her last fixture against Melbourne Stars. She picked up 8/2 in two overs with the ball and was the most economical bowler. She held her nerve in the pressure cooker run chase and scored an unbeaten 15 off 13 to seal a two-wicket win. She is a right-handed batter and a right-arm seamer.

Pitch

It will be the tournament’s second match at the venue. In the last game, 221 runs were scored, and 17 wickets fell. Batting does not look too easy here, as there is some assistance for the bowlers. Expect an exciting contest between bat and ball.
