The right-handed middle-order batter scored a run-a-ball 24 and, with the ball, claimed 19/2 in four overs, bowling right-arm off-spin. She also accounted for two catches.
Alyssa Healy:
The swashbuckling right-handed opening batter of Sydney Sixers smashed 43 off 32 in her last appearance against Melbourne Stars to top-score for her team. She hammered six boundaries in her entertaining innings. With her blistering knock, she provided an excellent start to her team with the bat.
Madeline Penna:
The right-handed middle-order batter of Adelaide Strikers starred with the bat in her last game against Melbourne Renegades. Coming in at number six, she mustered 36 off 43, including three boundaries and a six. She held the innings together, having come in to bat in just the seventh over.
Megan Schutt:
The right-arm speedster of Adelaide Strikers scalped 23/2 in four overs in her last fixture against Melbourne Renegades. She opened the bowling and bowled well with the new ball. In the death overs, she was effective, too, claiming her wickets in the 16th and 19th overs of the innings.
Pitch
It will be the tournament’s second match at the venue, with the first game being played early in the day. Expect a relatively new and hard surface.
