The right-handed opening batter of Brisbane Heat won the player of the match in her last game against Melbourne Stars. She hammered 54 off 34. Her innings was studded with three boundaries and four sixes. In the process, she stitched an 88-run partnership with her opening partner Georgia Redmayne.
Jess Jonassen:
The skipper of Brisbane Heat led from the front as she wreaked havoc with the ball picking up 36/3 in four overs against Melbourne Stars in the last match. The wily left-arm spinner claimed all three wickets in the 20th over. She was rewarded for her consistency with lines and lengths.
Sophie Molineux:
The captain of Melbourne Renegades bagged the player of the match award in her last outing against Adelaide Strikers. She made valuable contributions with the bat and ball. She opened the batting and bowling for her team. The southpaw mustered an unbeaten 32 off 35 and, with the ball, scalped 23/4 in four overs, bowling left-arm spin.
Hayley Matthews:
The West Indian all-rounder had a good outing with bat and ball in her last appearance against Adelaide Strikers. The right-handed batter opened the batting and muscled 22 off 15. With the ball, the right-arm off-spinner accounted for 17/1 in four overs.
