The swashbuckling right-handed opening batter of England Women’s U19 packed a punch with a 35-ball 64 in her last match against Rwanda Women’s U19. She smashed a dozen boundaries in her blitzkrieg and bagged the player of the match award. She stitched a 124-run partnership with her opening partner and captain, Grace Scrivens.
Ryana Macdonald-Gay:
The right-arm speedster of England Women’s U19 was one of the most successful bowlers for her side in her last game against Rwanda Women’s U19. She scalped 1/2 in two overs, including one maiden. She was also one of the most economical bowlers. She muscled nine off six with the bat, finding the fence once.
Georgina Dempsey:
The talented all-rounder of Ireland Women’s U19 won the player of the match award in the last fixture against Indonesia Women’s U19. The right-handed middle-order batter blasted an unbeaten 52 ff 45, including five hits to the fence. She also claimed 5/1 in three overs, including two maidens, opening the bowling.
Zara Craig:
This promising all-rounder of Ireland Women’s U19 made valuable contributions with bat and ball in the last encounter against Indonesia Women’s U19. She scored 50 off 38, including four boundaries, batting at number five. She also accounted for 4/2 in two overs, bowling right-arm seam.
