The playoff match of the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup will be played between USA and Scotland on January 20 at Willowmoore Park in Benoni, South Africa. The game will begin at 1.30 PM IST (10 AM LOCAL).

Both teams have lost all their three matches in the Group stage. While the USA went down to Sri Lanka, Australia, and Bangladesh in Group A, Scotland suffered defeats against India, South Africa, and UAE in Group D.

The left-handed top-order batter of USA Women’s U19 starred with the bat in her last outing against Bangladesh Women’s U19. The southpaw mustered 26 off 37, including four hits to the fence. She also opened the bowling and claimed 19/1 in three overs. She is a right-arm speedster.

The right-arm off-spinner of USA Women’s U19 was the most successful bowler for her side in the last fixture against Bangladesh Women’s U19. She opened the bowling with Snigdha Paul and scalped 15/2 in four overs, including one maiden. She was also the most economical bowler.

The captain of Scotland Women’s U19 was the pick of the bowlers for her side in the last fixture against India Women’s U19. The wily right-arm off-spinner accounted for 31/2 in four overs, picking up both wickets in the 17th over. Besides her bowling, she is known for her batting in the middle order.

The right-handed opening batter of Scotland Women’s U19 top-scored for her team in the last match against India Women’s U19. She muscled 24 off 22, including three boundaries and a six. She will be expected to give a good start to Scotland with the bat. She also bowled one over of off-spin and conceded 13 runs.
