Both teams have registered comprehensive wins in their first game of the tournament. While India beat South Africa by seven wickets, UAE handed a six-wicket defeat to Scotland.

The vice-captain of India Women’s U19 won the player of the match in her last outing against South Africa Women’s U19. The right-handed opening batter led the run chase from the front with an undefeated 92 off 57, hitting 20 boundaries. She anchored the run chase brilliantly.
Shafali Verma:
The skipper of India Women’s U19 made valuable contributions with bat and ball in her last match against South Africa Women’s U19. The right-handed swashbuckling opening batter packed a punch with a 16-ball 45 to take the opposition attack to the cleaners. With her gentle spin, she scalped 31/2 in four overs.
Samaira Dharnidharka:
The star all-rounder of UAE Women’s U19 bagged the player of the match award in her last fixture against Scotland Women’s U19. She had a great game with the bat and ball. The right-handed top-order batter mustered 23 off 27 and claimed 22/2 in four overs, bowling right-arm medium-pace.
Mahika Gaur:
The right-handed middle-order batter of UAE Women’s U19 top-scored in her last game against Scotland. She muscled an unbeaten 33 off 25, including three boundaries and a six. The left-arm speedster also opened the bowling with Indhuja Nandakumar and bowled her full quota of four overs, conceding 21 runs.
Pitch
It will be the tournament’s third game at this venue. The teams batting second have won both matches here. It is a belter of a wicket, with the previous fixture producing more than 300 runs. Another high-scoring contest could be on the cards. However, a thick cloud cover and morning start to the play may assist the fast bowlers in the first hour of play.
