The seventh match of the inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup will be played between England and Zimbabwe on January 15 at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, South Africa. The game will begin at 5.15 PM IST (1.45 PM LOCAL).
Both teams have played a couple of warm-up fixtures ahead of the World Cup against West Indies and Indonesia. While England won both their games, Zimbabwe lost their two encounters.

The captain of England Women’s U19 is a left-handed batter and a right-arm off-spinner. In the second warm-up fixture against Indonesia Women’s U19, she muscled an unbeaten 26 off 15, including four boundaries. She is an attacking batter. She can also be handy with the ball.
Sophia Smale:
The wily left-arm spinner of England Women’s U19 has claimed two wickets in as many warm-up games. She is known for her consistency with her lines and lengths and has good control over the ball. Besides being a wicket-taker, she is an economical bowler.
Natasha Mtomba:
The opening batter of Zimbabwe Women’s U19 top-scored with 15 off 24 in the first warm-up match against Indonesia Women’s U19. As an opener, she will have to shoulder the responsibility of providing a steady start to her side and laying the foundation for the batters to follow.
Olinder Chare:
She has been the most successful bowler for Zimbabwe Women’s U19 in the two warm-up matches that were played before the start of the World Cup. She bagged four wickets and bowled at a decent economy rate. She will be expected to provide crucial breakthroughs to her side.
Pitch
It will be the tournament’s second game at this venue, with the first one being played early in the day. Before the World Cup, 10 women’s T20Is have been played here, with the teams batting first, winning two, the teams batting second, winning seven, and one match not producing a result. Expect a good batting surface that will produce plenty of runs.
