The second edition of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s Under-19 Twenty20 (T20) World Cup is just around the corner, set to take place from January 18 to February 2, 2025, in Malaysia. The tournament will bring together 16 teams competing across four groups, as outlined below, with squads to follow.
Defending champions India have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Malaysia, the West Indies, and Sri Lanka. Group B includes last year’s runners-up England, Ireland, Pakistan, and the United States of America (USA).
Group C sees South Africa paired with New Zealand, Samoa, and Nigeria—both of whom have made history by qualifying for their first-ever World Cup at any level, via the East Asia Pacific and Africa qualifiers, respectively. Group D features Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Scotland, with Nepal and Scotland earning their spots via the Asia and Europe qualifiers, respectively.
