Players to watch out:

Saskia Horley

The 24-year-old all-rounder, in her only ODI earlier this year, opening the batting, scored a fine 62 (76), and returned figures of 3/22 (7). In Australia’s 2023-24 premier 50-over competition, she amassed 274 runs from 9 outings at an average of 30.44, and bagged 3 wickets from 7 outings, with her bests being 89 and 2/30. Given her success and experience in the format, she can be relied upon for all-round efforts.

Priyanaz Chatterji

The 30-year-old all-rounder, from 5 ODI appearances, has accumulated 70 runs, including a highest score of 33, while also striking 3 wickets, maintaining an economy rate of 4.86. Priyanaz, in her most recent ODI campaign earlier this year, registered scores of 4 and 33, alongside bowling figures of 1/15 and 1/26. She has been in notable form of late and will be counted on for the goods.

Tanya Ruma

The 31-year-old top-order batter, from 5 ODIs, has added 130 runs to the tally at an average of 32.59. Tanya registered scores of 20 and a career-best of 80* in her most recent ODI campaign earlier this year. With over 1200 runs at an average of 34.37 from 48 T20Is, she has been successful in international cricket. She is a reliable anchor and will be banked upon to lead the scoring.

Sibona Jimmy

The 31-year-old all-rounder has posted 102 runs and secured 9 wickets from 5 ODIs, registering bests of 57 and 4/22. In T20Is, Sibona has amassed 672 runs from 45 innings, while from 48 outings, she has secured 46 wickets, registering bests of 58* and 4/13. Sibona wasn’t much among the runs in her most recent ODI campaign but compensated with the ball and should be backed to step up her efforts.
