The two teams have had contradicting fortunes so far in the tournament. While the Originals have lost both the games that they have played, Superchargers on the other hand have looked excellent and pocketed two important wins.

Players to watch out for
Harmanpreet Kaur (Manchester Originals):
India’s T20I captain has had two wonderful outings in the Hundred. She has scored 78 runs in two games, including the best of 49 not out. She has a strike rate of 123.80. She is the leading run scorer for her team and third overall. Apart from her batting, she has also chipped in with the ball bowling three sets across the two matches.
Kate Cross (Manchester Originals):
The captain of the Originals is the leading wicket-taker for the side. She has picked up 4 wickets in two matches. She has looked in good rhythm and has pitched the ball in the right areas. With the bat, in the first game, she played a cameo in which she scored an unbeaten 12 off 4 balls. The Originals would want their captain to fire with both bat and ball.
Jemimah Rodrigues (Northern Superchargers):
The pocket-sized dynamo has been making headlines on a regular basis, thanks to her two scintillating knocks in the competition. She is the highest run getter in the tournament having scored 152 in two matches. She has a blistering strike rate of 180.95 and has by all means dominated the opposition bowling. Superchargers would want their opening bat to go all guns blazing in their upcoming fixtures.
Laura Kimmince (Northern Superchargers):
The hard hitting bat from Australia hit five boundaries in a set against Trent Rockets in her previous game. She scored a quick-fire 31 off 13 balls, hitting seven boundaries at a strike rate of 238.46. Apart from her batting prowess, she is an exceptional fielder and saves plenty of runs for her team.

Pitch
At Manchester, the Originals played against Birmingham Phoenix on July 25. It was a low scoring encounter as the Phoenix batting first posted 113 and in reply the Originals were reduced to just 93. It was a difficult pitch to bat on as the ball was not coming on to the bat nicely. A total of 17 wickets fell in the space of 200 balls, out of which 12 were picked by seamers, four by spinners, and there was one run out.
