It is an 11 am (local) start and the weather looks good for a day’s play of cricket. The average temperature is expected to be around 19°C. There will be a light cloud cover and a gentle breeze blowing across east-northeast. There is almost no probability of rain as the weather forecasts low chances of precipitation.
It is a good cricketing wicket as it aids the batters as well as the bowlers. The batters have been enjoying batting here as it is evident from the high scoring games that have happened at the venue. On the other hand, a gentle to moderate breeze bowling across the ground can aid the bowlers in getting some movement. The average score for 12 matches (men’s T20Is) on this ground is 158 and the teams batting first have won 7 out of the 12 games.
Average 1st innings score: 161 (max score: 232 and min score: 111)
Average 2nd innings score: 143 (max score: 201 and min score: 110)
