While London Spirit have won just one out of their five matches, Birmingham Phoenix, on the other hand, have won three in their five outings. London Spirit only defeated Welsh Fire and suffered defeats at the hands of Southern Brave, Northern Superchargers, Trent Rockets, and Oval Invincibles, while Birmingham Phoenix have won over Welsh Fire, Trent Rockets, and Northern Superchargers, and have gone down against Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals.

Players to watch out for

Amelia Kerr: 

The right-handed middle-order batter of London Spirit top scored with 31 runs off as many balls in her last appearance against Oval Invincibles. The New Zealander smashed four boundaries and held her team’s batting innings together. Apart from her batting, she is known for her right arm leg spin.

Grace Scrivens: 

The right-arm off-spinner of London Spirit was the lone wicket-taker for her team in the last match against Oval Invincibles. She came in to bowl as the first change and picked up 23/1 in 18 balls, including six dots. She exhibited good control over her lines and lengths.

Georgia Elwiss: 

The right-handed middle-order batter of Birmingham Phoenix starred with the bat in her last match against Manchester Originals. She muscled 32 runs off 25 balls, including five boundaries.  In the process, she stitched a 46-run partnership with Issy Wong for the sixth wicket. She also bowled 15 balls and conceded 18 runs, bowling right-arm medium pace.

Emily Arlott: 

The right-arm pace sensation of Birmingham Phoenix was one of the most successful bowlers for her team in her last fixture against Manchester Originals. She scalped 17/2 in her full set of 20 balls, including 11 dot balls. She was also the most economical bowler for her side. With the bat, she scored an unbeaten 14 off 10, including a six.

Pitch

This will be the third match of the tournament at this venue. The teams batting second have won both matches. The average first innings score is 100 and the average second innings score is 102. The wicket looks good for batting in the second half of the match. On the other hand, the conditions are conducive for bowling in the first half. An exciting contest between bat and ball could be on the cards.
