Stephanie hasn’t had a bowl lately, while also hasn’t scored many runs. She has managed scores of 17, 14, and 9 in three games on this tour and will be backed to convert her starts.
Immaculate Nakisuyi
The 28-year-old all-rounder has amassed 816 runs, including the highest of 68*, from 53 outings, while also striking 31 wickets from 30 innings. Barring a game against Rwanda, Immaculate hasn’t found much success of late. However, in her most recent game, she notched up a career-best 68*, and it’ll be hoped that she capitalizes on this return to form.
Natthakan Chantham
The 28-year-old opening batter, from 79 T20I innings, has racked up 1656 runs, at an average of 26.70, and registered the highest of 88*. Natthakan has struggled for runs lately, crossing the double-digit mark just once in her previous 5 innings. She is amongst the best batters on the team, and it’ll be expected that the seasoned batter rediscovers her form.
Chanida Sutthiruang
The 30-year-old all-rounder, from 66 T20I innings has accumulated 769 runs and, maintaining an economy rate of 4.27, has scalped 68 wickets from 79 outings, with bests being 46* and 5/4. On this tour of the UAE, while Chanida hasn’t scored many runs, she’s returned figures of 1/23 (3), 0/26 (2.3), 0/17 (3), and 1/15 (3). She can be relied upon for an all-round effort.
Pitch:
The Tolerance Oval wicket caters to both spinners and pacers with its array of variations. It would be wise for the batters to take their time and find their rhythm before shifting gears, targeting a competitive total in the 140s.
