Bio:-

The 27-year-old veteran batter from Zimbabwe made her international debut on 5th January 2019 in a T20I against Namibia. She has scored 1,118 runs, at a strike rate of 85.34 and an impressive average of 31.94 in 47 innings. Her tally of runs includes three half-centuries so far. Her best performance with the bat for Zimbabwe in the T20I format came on 12th September 2022 when she stayed unbeaten on 75, scoring at an impressive strike rate of 120.96 against the United Arab Emirates in the Women’s T20 Quadrangular series including the UAE, USA, and Thailand. She played a crucial role in helping her side clinch a comprehensive 47-run victory. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance (75* off 62 balls) with the bat.

She made her ODI debut on 5th October 2021 against Ireland. She has scored 215 runs at a strike rate of 48.31 in 14 innings so far. Her best performance with the bat in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 26th March 2024 when she stayed unbeaten on 57 runs at a strike rate of 53.27 against Papua New Guinea in the 2nd ODI. She played a crucial role in helping her side clinch a low-scoring thriller by 2 wickets and 45 balls to spare. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance (57* off 107 balls) with the bat.

She was selected for the Women’s Global Development Squad in November 2018. She was included in Zimbabwe’s Women’s One Day International (WODI) squad for their series against Ireland in October 2021, marking the team’s first WODI matches after gaining WODI status from the ICC in April 2021.
