The 27-year-old bowling all-rounder from Zimbabwe made her international debut on 5th January 2019 in a T20I against Namibia. She has picked up 49 wickets at a strike rate of 17.3, an average of 13.83, with an economy of 4.77 in 48 innings with the ball for her side. Her best performance with the ball came on 26th April 2022 when she returned with brilliant match figures (3.3-0-14-5) in her spell against Namibia in the final of the Capricorn Women’s tri-series involving Namibia and Uganda.
She was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance (3.3-0-14-5) with the ball for her side. She scripted history as she became the first bowler for Zimbabwe to take a hat trick in a Women’s T20I match. She also bagged her maiden five-wicket haul in the T20I format in the final against Namibia. Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has scored 18 runs, at a strike rate of 66.66 in 7 innings.
She made her ODI debut on 5th October 2021 against Ireland. She has picked up 10 wickets at an average of 30.20, and an impressive economy of 4.37 in 11 innings. Her best performance with the ball in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 28th March 2024 when she returned with exceptional match figures (8-2-16-2) in her spell against Papua New Guinea in the 3rd ODI of the bilateral series. She played a crucial role with the ball in helping her side clinch a comprehensive 35-run victory.
Apart from her exploits with the ball, she has also scored 82 runs at a strike rate of 49.39 in 9 innings so far. Her best performance with the bat in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 21st April 2023 when she scored an unbeaten 33 runs at a strike rate of 47.14 against Thailand in the 2nd ODI of the bilateral series on their tour to Thailand.
She was also a part of Zimbabwe’s squad for their series against Ireland in October 2021, marking their maiden ODI series after gaining ODI status from the ICC in April 2021.
