Bio:-

The 26-year-old batting all-rounder from Zimbabwe made her international debut on 5th January 2019 in a T20I against Namibia. She has scored 404 runs, at a strike rate of 91.19 and a decent average of 22.44 in 33 innings. Her best performance with the bat for Zimbabwe in the T20I format came on 13th September 2021 when she stayed unbeaten on 56 runs at a humongous strike rate of 175 against Mozambique in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Region Qualifier. She played a crucial role in helping her side clinch a massive 171-run victory. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her breathtaking performance (56* off 32 balls) with the bat.

Apart from her exploits with the bat, she has also picked up 42 wickets at a strike rate of 19.5, an average of 14.14, with an impressive economy of 4.34 in 43 innings with the ball for her side. Her tally of wickets includes a couple of four-wicket hauls. Her best performance with the ball came on 23rd April 2022 when she returned with exceptional match figures (3-1-7-4) in her spell against Namibia. She was awarded the Player of the Match for her match-winning performance with the ball.

She made her ODI debut on 5th October 2021 against Ireland. She has scored 209 runs at a strike rate of 61.29 and a decent average of 26.12 in 11 innings so far. Her tally of runs includes a couple of half-centuries. Her best performance with the bat in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 7th October 2021 when she scored an unbeaten 70 runs at a strike rate of 81.39 against Ireland in the 2nd ODI of the bilateral series. Apart from her exploits with the bat, she has also picked up 18 wickets at a strike rate of 27.1, an average of 17.44, and an impressive economy of 3.86 in 10 innings. Her best performance with the ball in the ODI format for Zimbabwe came on 26th March 2024 when she returned with exceptional match figures (8-0-18-3) against Papua New Guinea in the 2nd ODI of the bilateral series. She played a crucial role with the ball in helping her side clinch a 2-wicket victory in a low-scoring thriller.

She is the vice-captain of the Zimbabwean women’s cricket team and has been one of the consistent members of the side. Notably, she was appointed captain for Zimbabwe’s series against the South Africa Emerging team in May 2021. She was also a part of Zimbabwe’s squad for their series against Ireland in October 2021, marking their maiden ODI series after gaining ODI status from the ICC in April 2021.
