The 24-year-old wicket-keeper batter made her international debut on 9th August 2019 in a T20I against the Netherlands. She has scored 97 runs at a strike rate of 64.23, in 15 innings. Her best performance with the ball for Scotland in the T20I format came on 18th January 2022 against Sri Lanka when she scored an unbeaten 30 at a strike rate of 115.38 in the Commonwealth Games Qualifier 2022.
She made her ODI debut on 17 October 2023 against Ireland. In four innings so far, she has scored 31 runs with the bat. Outside of international cricket, Watson has also made appearances in the Women’s County Championship for Berkshire, playing four matches in the 2019 season. While her contributions with the bat and behind the stumps have been notable, Watson’s presence underscores Scotland’s depth in talent and her potential to make further strides in her cricketing journey.
