South Africa kept losing wickets at regular interval which meant they were bowled out for a below-par score of 164.

Marizanne Kapp scored 54 runs and was the highest scorer for her team. She was on 8 runs at the fall of 6th wicket in the South Africa innings. Marizanne Kapp scored 46 of the last 61 runs her team scored before she was the last wicket fell off the innings to go down. Jhulan Goswami was the pick of the bowlers picking up 3 wickets, every Indian bowler who bowled in the match at least picked 1 wicket.

In reply to South Africa’s paltry score India women got off a prominent start Jemimah Rodrigues was playing the protagonist while debutant Priya Puniya played the second fiddle. Jemimah Rodrigues scored 55 off just 65 deliveries. After the loss of first wicket Priya Puniya who was dropped while she was on 6, making sure that India chases down the target without any fuss. Priya Punia scored an unbeaten 75 to take her team home with almost 8 overs to spare.
