The 21-year-old in T20Is, in 45 innings with the bat has scored 722 runs, including the highest of 59, while in 33 bowling innings has struck 26 scalps and has got the best figures of 6/3. Malaysia has only had low totals to chase and Elysa is doing her part.
The 19-year-old had debuted for the side back in 2018 and bowling in only her 2nd outing against the Philippines, Dhanusri registered impressive figures of 3/5. Her maiden international wicket had come in the game and ended with 3.
The 27-year-old all-rounder, in 11 T20Is has scored 59 runs and struck 10 wickets with the best figures being 2/17. Zin remained unbeaten on 13* in her previous outings and guided the team over the line in a low total run chase.
The 17-year-old debuted in Myanmar’s most recent T20I outings – against the Philippines. Wa Nadi on debut looked very impressive recording figures of 4/13 off her 4 overs and is believed to the handy with the bat as well.
The AZ Group Cricket Oval is known for its bowler-friendly surface, which is particularly advantageous for pacers. The conditions at this ground pose a significant challenge for batters, making it tough for them to score runs, and an average score of 35 indicates another low-scoring contest.
Scattered thunderstorms are predicted on the radar, but the good news is that the skies are clear during the match hours. The temperature is forecasted to hover around 35°C, with light winds and humidity of 63%.
