Players to watch out:

Jodi Grewcock

The 19-year-old all-rounder has accumulated 258 runs and taken 13 wickets from 11 outings in the 2024 RHFT, registering bests of 56 and 3/28. Jodi didn’t score many runs in the second leg of this competition, although she was among the wicket-takers. In the ongoing last leg, she has registered scores of 40 and 36 in her previous outings, while also being economical and effective with the ball. She can be counted on for the goods.

Mady Villiers

The 26-year-old bowling all-rounder has taken 17 wickets from 10 outings in this RHFT edition, maintaining an economy rate of 4.58, while also adding 122 runs to her tally. Building on her bowling form, Mady has produced figures of 4/36 and 2/55 in her previous couple of outings, while continuing to struggle for runs in this competition. She is a seasoned all-rounder and should be backed to step up her efforts.

Nat Wraith

The 22-year-old keeper-batter, averaging 38.90, has amassed 428 runs from 12 T20Is, with the highest score of 73. Nat had a notable domestic season this summer, and while she missed out on replicating that success in the recently concluded 2024 The Hundred, she registered scores of 21 and 68 in the ongoing final leg of the RHFT. She can be counted on to follow up with good scores, extending this run of form.

Amanda-Jade Wellington

The 27-year-old all-rounder has racked up 237 runs at a strike rate of 133.89 and taken 12 wickets at an economy rate of 4.50 from 11 appearances in the 2024 RHFT. Amanda-Jade has had a brilliant domestic season thus far, and following two successful stints in franchise tournaments, she registered figures of 0/62 (8) in her most recent RHFT game. Yet, she can be relied upon for breakthroughs.

Pitch:

The center wicket at Brunton Memorial Ground poses challenges for batters due to its pace-friendly nature, leading to an average score of 177. Batters will need to apply themselves thoroughly to succeed on this low-scoring wicket.
