In the middle phase, Shishira Gowda added 11, followed by an explosive cameo from Kusuma Gowda, who smashed 32 off just 20 balls, adding 32 runs in tandem with her captain. The Lioness bowling attack had its moments, with Saina Kapoor claiming 2/23, and Chinmayi Shivanand, Namita D’souza, and Srinithi P Rai picking up a wicket apiece.
In response, Shivamogga Lioness Women’s chase faltered despite a strong start by skipper Roshni Kiran, who struck 43 off 32 with confident stroke play.
