Mixed efforts from the top batters and bowling unit saw Himachal getting a victory over Jharkhand in the Round IV of the Super League stage of the tournament. Himachal on winning the toss elected to bat first.

Himachal had a decent outing with the bat as they put up a score of 117 runs together. Captain Nikita Chauhan 21(25) and Tajinder Singh 10(23) stitched a partnership of 33 runs. Shivani Singh also made 21 runs in 15 balls. Tanuja Kanwer high scored with the bat. She made 23 runs in 20 balls. Overall, Himachal lost 9 wickets and made a total of 117 runs. Jharkhand’s bowling was superb. Captain Niharika Prasad, Nidhi Buley, and Arti Kumari shared 6 wickets among themselves.

Jharkhand, while batting in the second innings, could not show composure. Apart from Reena Singh and Durga Murmu who made 23 and 13 runs respectively, none of the batters could score more than 8. A good bowling effort from Himachal ensured that Jharkhand get restricted to only 81 runs. Himachal bowled out their opposition as Tanuja Kanwer obtained a 3-wicket haul. Renuka Singh and Nikita Chauhan scalped 2 wickets each. Himachal won by 36 runs.
