Group B: Round VII – Sheral Rozario and Priyanka Bala’s solid knocks help Railways win over Sikkim by a margin.

Railways won the toss and chose to bat in their Group 7 match against Sikkim. They set an imposing target of 183 for Sikkim. Opener Priyanka Bala made 66 runs off 56 balls. The star of the innings was Sheral Rozario who smashed 87 runs in 50 balls and remained not out to take Railways’ score to 182/2 at the end of 20 overs.

Sikkim, chasing a big score, failed to raise their run rate. Captain Ananya Upendran made 30 runs before getting bowled to Sarika Koli while Archana Das was run out while she was on 16. Shubhi Pandey made 11 runs in her outing while the other batters could not contribute much. Sikkim lost 5 wickets as they made a total of 67 runs.

Result: Railways won by 115 runs.
