Match 8 – Thailand Women vs Nepal Women – Chanida Sutthiruang’s 35 runs earned Thailand second spot

Thailand won the toss and chose to set a target for Nepal women. After 20 overs, Thailand women scored 124 runs for a loss of 7 wickets. Nepal started the chase with openers Kajal Shreshtha and Roma Thapa throwing their wickets early. Indu Barma was the highest run-scorer for Nepal as she scored 29 in 44 balls. Nepal finished their 20 overs at 67 runs and as a result, Thailand won the match by 57 runs. Thailand Captain, Sornnarin Tippoch picked 2 wickets.  Chanida Sutthiruang was declared Player of the Match for her innings of 35 runs from 29 balls including 3 fours and her contribution with the bowl too. Thailand is now at second position in the points table with 4 points.
