Sophia Dunkley is one of the most talented young batters in England women’s cricket. She is known for attacking batting, smart shot selection, and the ability to score quickly in white-ball cricket. Over the last few years, she has become an important player for England in both ODIs and T20Is.
Sophia was born in London and started playing cricket at a young age. She first played for Middlesex and later moved to Surrey, where her strong performances helped her earn a place in the England team.
She made her international debut during the 2018 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup against Bangladesh. Although she did not get many chances in her early matches, England management believed in her talent and kept supporting her development.

She is known for positive batting and playing fearless shots during powerplays and middle overs. Sophia can attack spin and pace equally well, which makes her dangerous in T20 cricket. Apart from batting, she can also bowl part-time leg-spin when needed and adds value as a sharp fielder.
