While chasing this total Maddy Green scored 36 runs in 35 balls with three 4s (retired hurt). Suzie Bates (34 runs) provided the momentum by giving a good start and Haley Jensen (15 not out) finished the game. Udeshika Prabhodhani along with S Siriwardene was the only bowler to take a wicket for Sri Lanka.
