Northern Superchargers Women stormed into the Eliminator of The Hundred 2025 with a commanding eight-wicket win over Manchester Originals Women at Old Trafford. It was their sixth victory of the campaign, a result that now sets up a crunch clash against London Spirit, with the winner advancing to face table-toppers Southern Brave in the Final.

Asked to bat first, the Originals never found rhythm as wickets fell in clusters. Captain Beth Mooney (20 off 13) provided a brisk start, but once Annabel Sutherland removed her, the innings quickly unraveled. Kathryn Bryce (5), Amelia Kerr (6), and Deandra Dottin (11) failed to settle, exposing the middle order.
Alice Monaghan’s spirited 26 from 17 balls offered a brief spark, but her dismissal at 73/6 extinguished any hopes of a late surge. The lower order folded tamely, with Sophie Ecclestone (4) and Fi Morris (7) among those dismissed cheaply, leaving the Originals bowled out for just 94 in 95 deliveries.
The Superchargers’ bowlers were relentless, never letting the batters break free. Sutherland led the charge with outstanding figures of 3/15 from her 20 balls, well supported by Nicola Carey (2/13) and Kate Cross (1/6). Grace Ballinger (1/21) and Linsey Smith (1/30) also chipped in, ensuring the pressure remained unrelenting from start to finish.
Chasing a modest 95, the Superchargers were briefly checked when Sophie Ecclestone bowled Davina Perrin for 5. But Alice Davidson-Richards (30 off 18) and Phoebe Litchfield (26* off 20) counterattacked with a flurry of boundaries, putting their side firmly in control.
Even after Davidson-Richards departed at 42/2, Sutherland (30* off 17) returned to make her mark once more, adding an unbroken 54-run partnership with Litchfield. The duo sealed the win emphatically, reaching 96/2 in just 65 balls to underline Superchargers’ dominance.
For the Originals, Ecclestone (1/39) and Lauren Filer (1/16) were the only wicket-takers, but with such a meagre total to defend, their efforts were in vain.
