In what promises to be a groundbreaking chapter for adaptive sports in India, the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), in collaboration with NTT DATA, has announced the squads for the NTT DATA Women’s T20 Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2025. The tournament will feature four dynamic squads: India Blue, India Orange, India Red, and India Yellow.

This pioneering national competition not only sets the stage for spirited on-field battles but also symbolises a wider movement toward empowerment, inclusion, and sporting excellence. Positioned as a crucial preparatory tournament for the inaugural Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind 2025, scheduled for November, it is set to highlight both the competitiveness and resilience of these exceptional athletes.
The tournament forms part of NTT DATA’s CSR initiative and CABI’s long-term vision to establish a sustainable ecosystem for visually impaired cricketers. Every cricketer selected has already demonstrated their talent at the Women’s National 2025 competition and will undergo a rigorous 12-day intensive coaching camp, sharpening their skills and strategies for top-level play.
