2) Ashleigh Gardner 3/23 (Trent Rockets)
The Australian all-rounder was the standout bowler for her side against the London Spirit. She was dismissed early after adding eight runs with the bat but had a good outing with the ball. The off-spinner first dismissed Georgia Redmayne by rattling her stumps, followed by Cordelia Griffith’s golden duck through a stumping. Later, Danielle Gibson was trapped in front of the stumps for 13. Gardner finished with figures of 3 for 23 and received the player of the match award.

3) Deepti Sharma 2/25 & 30* (London Spirit)
Deepti Sharma’s all-round contribution kept the Spirit in the hunt. Initially, with the ball, she claimed two wickets. Her first wicket was of the Trent Rockets skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt for 21, and then dismissed Ashleigh Gardner for a score of 8, finishing with figures of 2 for 25. In the 2nd innings, she came into bat when her team was scrambling at 63 for 4 and scored an unbeaten 30 runs, which included a boundary and a six. However, her contributions with both bat and ball went in vain as the Spirit suffered a 31-run defeat.
4) Alana King 3/23 (Trent Rockets)
Trent Rockets’ leg-spinner starred for her side against a star-studded batting lineup of the Spirit. Meg Lanning was her first wicket, dismissed for 23. Later, she dismissed the well-set Spirit’s skipper Heather Knight for 29, which also dashed the hopes of the London Spirit who were chasing 159, and her final wicket had come in the form of Charlie Dean on 13(12).
