In the ongoing fourth edition of the Women’s Hundred, the fourth match was played between the Northern Superchargers and Trent Rockets. 1) Alana King 2/17 (Trent Rockets)
The leg spinners’ first wicket ball this season was a dream one that pitched just outside leg and picked the top of off as Bess Heath walked with a duck to her name. Later on in the same spell, she dismissed Georgia Wareham for 2. Alana dismissed the middle-order batters of the Northern Superchargers in her team’s opening game of the women’s hundred. Earlier in the game, with the bat, she remained unbeaten on 6 off 5 balls but with her bowling display guided the Rockets to a comfortable win. For her efforts, she received the Player of the Match award for her performance.

2) Nat Sciver Brunt 36 & 2/19 (Trent Rockets)
The Trent Rockets’ skipper had a brilliant opening game for her side both with bat & ball. Earlier in the game, the right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 36 off 34 balls which assisted her side to put up a fighting total of 123. She smashed four boundaries throughout her innings. Later on, with the ball, she took two wickets in the form of the Superchargers’ skipper Hollie Armitage (14) and Lucy Higham (26). The English all-rounder played a crucial role in her team’s victory.

3) Annabel Sutherland 3/14 (Northern Superchargers)
Though in a losing cause, the Australian all-rounder displayed a bowling masterclass for the Superchargers. The medium pacer provided the first breakthrough for the Superchargers, dismissing Grace Scrivens for 32, which was later followed by the wicket of the other opener Bryon Smith for 23 and trapped Katie George lbw to pick her 3rd wicket. Later on, with the bat, Annabel scored 15 off 12 balls batting in the middle order.
