Welcome Australian Indigenous women cricket team in India

Australian Indigenous women cricket team arrived Delhi on May 23rd to kick start their 10 day tour of India. A welcome reception was hosted by Harinder Sidhu, for the 13 membered team.

The team will play 6 matches against the local teams in Delhi and Mumbai.

The squad for the matches are: Emily Bowden, Sara Darney, Carly Fuller, Ashleigh Gardner, Jacinta Goodger-Chandler, Samantha Gordon, Haylee Hoffmeister. Jemma Astley, Sally Moylan, Kavita Pepper, Natalie Plane, Roxsanne Van-Veen, Taylor Wigg, Samara Williams

First match 20 over match held in Delhi, which resulted in 3 wicket win for the visitors. Captain Ashleigh Garner and bowler Sally Moylan claimed 2-16, thus restricting the opposition on mere 113.

Batter, Carly Fuller played a fine knock of 46, leading her team to winning position.

The next One Day International is at Mumbai on Thursday, followed by a T20 double-header against the same opposition on Saturday to bring the tour to a close.
