Players to watch out:
The 25-year-old Scottish all-rounder for her national side in 31 games has scored 800 runs and has bagged 26 wickets. In the games this edition, with the bat, she’s registered scores of 7, 45, and 26, and with the ball has produced figures of 2/21, 1/21, 2/29, and 2/6.
The 25-year-old pacer from New Zealand in 22 T20I outings has picked up 14 wickets and with the bat in 7 innings has got to 54 runs. In the ongoing FairBreak edition, she hasn’t featured in all the games, but whenever has, she’s been good having produced figures of 1/15, 2/23, 0/29, and 3/11.
The 33-year-old Sri Lankan skipper in 108 T20I innings has got to 2299 runs and as a part-time spinner, in 56 innings has bagged 34 wickets. Chamari has had a memorable season and is breathing fire having registered scores of 44, 75*, 35, and 78 with the bat and has repeatedly produced impressive figures of 1/11, 4/17, 1/22, 1/29, 3/9, and 1/36 with the ball.
The Hong Kong local, in national colors, has scored 623 runs and has struck 21 scalps in 33 T20Is. Mariko got her campaign underway against Tornadoes with 38 runs and in her most recent outing scored a fine 19*, and with the ball, she’s produced figures of 1/11, 0/14, 3/11, 1/21, and 3/21.
The wicket at the Kowloon Cricket Club this time around is an evenly balanced one to a certain degree but continues to benefit the bowlers. While we’ve seen a few high-scoring innings, the tournament has brought to us many low-scoring thrillers.
With no chances of rain and the temperature expected to hover around 27°C, we expect a complete game of cricket. It should be a pleasant day tomorrow with light winds, partly cloudy overhead, and the humidity forecasted at 75%.
