  1. Javeria Khan Wadood was born on 14th May 1988 in Karachi.
  2. She used to play cricket with her brothers but wasn’t very passionate about it.
  3. Once she bunked her economics class and went for trials.
  4. There she was selected to play in the domestic team.
  5. She emerged as the best player there and this is when her passion grew.
  6. Javeria went for Regionals and got selected for the national team.
  7. She also took part in the 2009 ICC Women’s World Cup.
  8. In September 2010, Javeria was selected to play in the 2010 Asian Games in China.
  9. She was the leading run-scorer for Pakistan in the same.
  10. Later the same month, she was named as the captain of the side.
  11. She has played for Pakistan as an All-rounder.
  12. In October 2018, she was in Pakistan’s squad for the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies.
