In the Women’s T20 League – Oman, Indian Social Club (ISC) registered an emphatic victory by 8 wickets over Muscat Women’s team.
Payal Kanojia and Priyanka Mendonca outperformed the opponents with their powerful performances at Oman Cricket’s grassy ground 1 in Amerat. Payal helped the side by picking up three wickets for only two runs while Mamta Thakur bagged 3 for 19 as Muscat Women was dismissed for a minimal score of 86 in the 19th over only. For Muscat’s side, Amanda D’Costa batted like a lone warrior scoring 17 off 20. ISC Women chased the target quite easily while pacing up the innings to 90 runs with the loss of a couple of wickets during 16th over. Priyanka took the responsibility while playing a knock of 46 not out while Suhani Dadwal remained unbeaten at 18.
With their economical performance on Field, ISC emerged as winners in this encounter.
