A few days out from the start of the 2024-25 Indian domestic season for women, the 2024 edition of the Chhattisgarh Women’s T20 Cup Invitation Tournament, scheduled from the 27th of September to the 6th of October, 2024, will serve as a strong lead-up to the domestic season. From squads and schedule to format and broadcast details, here’s everything you need to know about the 6-team event.
In the 2023 edition, Goa and Vidarbha faced off in the Final, with the latter emerging as champions. The league stage featured four teams from Chhattisgarh. However, this year, Chhattisgarh will field only two teams and will be joined by Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bengal, and Andhra.
Format:
The tournament will follow a single round-robin format, with each team playing all the other teams once during the 15-match league stage. The teams finishing at the top of the 6-team table will directly advance to the championship match, the Final.
