The dashing all-rounder of Kalighat Club starred with the bat in her last game against Gymkhana. Batting at number five, she scored 27 off 29, including a couple of hits to the fence. Besides her batting, she is known for her left-arm spin and is a genuine wicket-taker.
Jhumpa Roy:
She was one of the leading wicket-takers for Kalighat Club in the last fixture against Gymkhana. She opened the bowling and scalped 11/2 in four overs. She struck in her first over and was excellent with the new ball. She was also the most economical bowler for her side. With the bat, she scored an undefeated 26 off 34.
Dhara Gujjar:
The captain of Mohun Bagan AC top-scored in the last encounter against MD. Sporting Club. The left-handed opening batter mustered 35 off 46, including three boundaries. The southpaw stitched a 68-run partnership with her opening partner Samayita Adhikari to lay a solid foundation. Bowling right-arm off-spin, she chipped in with 13/1 in two overs.
Piyali Ghosh:
She was one of the most successful bowlers for Mohun Bagan AC in the last game against MD. Sporting Club. She accounted for 12/2 in three overs, including one maiden. She bowled well in the middle phase of the innings and death overs. With the bat, she scored an unbeaten 18 off 15, hitting two boundaries.
