Pakistan is currently hosting Bangladesh and has freshly wrapped up a successful -full victory T20 series by their name. ECB has released the names of the squad members playing In ODI’s for the side lead by Bismah Maroof. Apparently there are 3 changes made in the squad that played T20I’s, Right-hand batter Ayesha Zaffar, Slow-left arm orthodox Anam Amin and right-arm off break Saba Nazir have been replaced by Slow-left arm off-spinner Nashra Sandhu, leg-spinner Aroob Shah, and right-arm medium-fast Fatima Sana respectively- they were in the squad during ACC women’s emerging cup tournament held in Sri-Lanka.
Sadia Iqbal who performed excellently in the T20 series taking 4 wickets in 3 matches with an average of 15 has been called up for her maiden ODI appearance against Bangladesh. The squad looks like a perfect combination of experience and fresh talent keeping in mind the final round of ICC women’s championship in December against England, preparing them for the crucial matches in the future.
The ODI series of 2 matches will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 2nd and 4th November. The squad is as follows:
