The top 4 teams according to the ICC World Rankings as of 1st June will directly qualify to the quarter finals. These 4 teams will be India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. A total of 14 games will be played in the tournament, if a team loses a match, that team will be knocked out of the tournament, meaning every match will be a do-or-die for the teams.
