Players to watch

Shamima Sultana: 

The right-handed opening batter of Bangladesh was at the helm of the run chase in her last game against Thailand. She top-scored with 49 off 30, including 10 boundaries. She stitched a 69-run partnership with her opening partner Fargana Hoque. She also had a good outing on the field, accounting for a couple of catches.

Rumana Ahmed:

The talented all-rounder from Bangladesh was the pick of the bowlers in her last match against Thailand. She claimed 9/3 in three overs, including one maiden. She was effective in the middle overs and struck twice in the 15th over. Apart from her bowling, she is a handy right-handed middle-order batter.

Tuba Hassan: 

The wily right-arm leg spinner of Pakistan won the player of the match in her last outing against Malaysia. She scalped 13/2 in her full quota of four overs. She bowled well in the middle phase of the innings, accounting for as many as 17 dot balls. She was hard to get away with.

Sidra Ameen: 

The right-handed opening batter of Pakistan led the run chase from the front in her last game against Malaysia. She muscled 31 off 23, including five boundaries. In the process, she shared a 45-run partnership with her opening partner Muneeba Ali. She played some good-looking shots and ran well between the wickets.

Pitch

This will be the fifth match of the tournament at the venue. The teams batting first and the teams batting second have won two games each. The average first innings score is 100, and the average second innings score is 78. It has not been an easy wicket to bat on. The spinners have enjoyed bowling here, with four out of the top five wicket-takers in this edition of the competition being the slower bowlers.
