Malaysia were eventually bundled out for 87, with four balls to spare, falling 27 runs short of the target. Vaishnave Mahesh (4-11-3), Janani Thirukkumaran (4-13-1), Samaira Dharnidharka (3.2-9-2), and AL Maseera Jahangir (4-22-2) were the top performers with the ball for the United Arab Emirates.
